Welcome back after our long Easter break. Following are a few items for your information:
1. 5th and 6th classes are on retreat this Thursday as part of their Confirmation preparation. A note has been sent home.
2. 5th and 6th classes are taking part in a nature walk in and around the wooded area in Novartis on Friday. Children should wear wellies and rain-gear (and possibly hats/gloves if it’s cold.) A permission slip will be sent home tomorrow.
3. Swimming starts for 3rd and 4th classes next Monday. A note is being sent home today to give you more information.
4. Christine McCarthy, photographer, has been in contact regarding photography for the First Communion and Confirmation. She is booking up fast and advises people to contact her and return the forms as soon as possible, if you haven’t already.
5. Cork Sports Ability Day is on Saturday April 9th between 12 and 3.30pm in the UCC Mardyke Arena. It is suitable for all people with a disability, parents, teachers and anyone interested in sport for people of all abilities. Seewww.corksports.ie for more information. It has the reputation of being an excellent event.
6. Shamrock Girls GAA are holding a Cake Sale Fundraiser outside the Church in Shanbally next Sunday after 10.00 Mass. Please support.
7. Some families have yet to pay monies due for gymnastics (€7)/ Irish dancing (€3) and family contributions (€60). We would very much appreciate receipt of these promptly please.
